Bill Birgen is a rocket scientist, co-founder and chief technology officer for SAVRpak, a food preservation technology he invented to keep his lunch from getting soggy. For more than two decades, Bill designed temperature, humidity, and anti-icing solutions for space vehicles. He served as the chief systems engineer on the largest airplane and rocket plane in the world, Stratolaunch and developed systems for Virgin Galactic's rocket ship and DARPA. He was also a principal systems engineer for Honeywell.
Bill is an inventor who has founded a number of products and companies including AirFloe Mask, Midwater Collective and Kyllburg Technologies.
